I ...Hey, Andrea, I haven't seen you in a while! I found your blog from Latter-Day Homeschooling, and I saw this post while lurking here. :-) I did NOT know that you write (although it doesn't surprise me!). I have been looking for a critique group to join or form, and since you and I write in the same genre (and tend to read similar genres), I wondered if you are interested in starting a group with me? I don't have an agent yet, unfortunately, but I do have a short story being published this month, so that's *something*! Anyway, I know you're uber busy, but let me know if you are interested. My email is Erin.Jewkes@yahoo.com . And congratulations on your new baby boy!!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03942661782039630603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8364208679169851823.post-2065636649691135442013-04-23T23:06:16.853-06:002013-04-23T23:06:16.853-06:00I love Lloyd Alexander but haven't read him fo...I love Lloyd Alexander but haven't read him for YEARS. What is the matter with me? I need to re-read SOON! (Luckily, I will be nursing soon, which = lots more reading time, yay!) And I can't believe I haven't introduced the older boys to the Prydain Chronicles yet. I think I just forgot they existed! (The P.C.s, not the older boys.) You have pricked my conscience in a timely way. Thank you. Maybe we will try the books on CD!

Mostly I'm commenting because I'm intrigued with your little aside about H.P. Could it be . . . you do not love those books? If so WE MUST TALK. Because I sometimes think I'm the only one in the world . . . and yet I have many pithy criticisms I feel moved upon to offer . . . but I don't because I have not yet found the right outlet. (If you love HP, please forgive me. We will say no more of it.)

My favorite fantasy author is Diana Wynne Jones, I think. Do you like her?Marilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17085334272613025173noreply@blogger.com
