Head on over to Latter-day Homeschooling to see a wrap-up post about Baptism Prep.
Also, for those of you wondering where I disappeared to this summer, I was called as RS president and I've been trying to figure out how to do that calling!! Busy, busy.
I'm excited for school to start, though, as I need to get my children back into a routine before our whole family degenerates into a yelling/crying mob. We like our routines around here!

I wondered where you went! :) You have the best excuse for anyone not blogging through the entire summer. haha
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you...I've been making up/piecing together my own history curriculum, as I am not impressed with any of the ones available to homeschoolers out there. I am wondering how you have developed yours? From what I've seen from your posts, it appears you are doing basically what I'm going to do: read from several books appropriate to the time period and then follow up with activities to reinforce what's been learned. I'm mostly struggling with finding activities that aren't too advanced nor too dumbed-down for my children (who are similar ages to your children). If you're curious as to what I've got planned so far, I've started a blog and you are more than welcome to go on over and check it out -- and then tell me what you think. :) I'm very interested!

Thank you in advance for any insight you may have!
I enjoyed your post today Andrea! Welcome aboard! I understand your struggle to juggle. I too am currently the RS Pres. ;) Hang in there!
